Quote Analysis

Quote: pg 219: “I felt like an odd ball standing in front of the quiet, empty building, and looked up and down the street every couple of minutes lest the cops come by and wonder why a black man was loitering in front of a white man’s building in middle of the day in Suffolk, Virginia”

2. Response: I just thought it was really funny. I found it funny because they described it really well and it was just plan old true.

3. Significance: well it meant that his search stopped there and he had no hope of finding it even though he looked through every scrap of paper imaginable.Questions (for your group members to respond to)
