Quote Analysis. Quote: “ Folks gots sick and back them days like it was a new dance coming out. Plop! Dead as a doornail.”I wonder why the author talks about death so much and why is he always so straight to the point with it. I think this quote is trying to make it clear that jewish people didn’t try to hang over them as much as normal people do
2. Response: I chose this quote because for one its kinda funny and for serious this is. This also shows on how many different ways people deal with death.
3. Significance: Ruth has had a very hard time in her life with death
